Product Instructions – Angglz Support LLC

What is your most popular product?

Our Recovery & Travel Kit — a bundle of both Angglz sizes (Original and Tall) at a discounted price. It's our most popular because it covers every body, every seat, and every situation. Perfect for sharing with a partner or family member, or simply having both options for yourself. Two sizes, one bundle, one price — the complete Angglz experience.

What’s the difference between Angglz Original and Angglz Tall/Wide?

Angglz comes in two sizes so you can choose the amount of support and space that works best for your body.

Angglz Original (Narrow) measures approximately 9.5 inches long × 3.5 inches wide per side and weighs less than one pound.

Angglz Tall (Wide) measures approximately 10.5 inches long × 5.5 inches wide per side and provides additional knee support for longer legs and wider builds.

Why not just use a pillow, towel roll, or footrest?

Pillows and towel rolls give temporary lift, but they weren't designed for your knees and they're not something you'd want to carry with you. Angglz was purpose-built to solve this:

  • Patented - not a repurposed household item
  • Invented by a Physical Therapist - built on clinical knowledge, not guess work
  • Changes the angle while unloading the joint- the real fix for hanging knees while seated
  • Portable - fits in a bag, actually goes where you go

Available in two sizes (Original and Tall/Wide) to fit your body.

What is Angglz and how does it work?

Angglz is like a lumbar roll for your knee. Just as a lumbar roll supports the natural curve of your lower back while sitting, Angglz supports the natural resting position of your knee, reducing the stress that can build when the knee remains bent at 90 degrees.

Why does changing the angle matter?

With Angglz Knee Rest:

  • Muscles in the hips and legs relax
  • Decreases pressure on the kneecap
  • Ligaments remain in a relaxed position
  • Fluid moves freely, preventing buildup
  • Improves lower extremity circulation
Who is Angglz designed for?

Angglz is designed for anyone who experiences knee discomfort while sitting:

  • Travelers who experience knee discomfort on long flights, car rides, or commutes
  • Office workers who sit for extended hours
  • Athletes and active adults recovering from knee injuries
  • Individuals recovering from knee surgery or rehabilitation
  • Anyone with knee pain, stiffness, or swelling while sitting
  • Anyone looking to support long-term knee comfort and mobility

(Must have good hand strength to adjust the knee rest properly)

Can Angglz be used for short spurts during sports?

Absolutely. While Angglz is designed to provide support during sitting, it can also be used for short periods before, during, or after sports to help alleviate symptoms.

I had a total knee replacement (TKA). Which Angglz Knee Rest do you recommend?

Because a total knee replacement changes the mechanics of the knee, we generally recommend the Bundle (Original + Tall/Wide) so you can try both and determine which feels best for your body and recovery. That said, most people who have had a TKA find the Tall/Wide provides the most comfortable support, thanks to its larger size and added elevation.

How does Angglz help with knee recovery?

Angglz supports recovery by allowing you to comfortably position your knee in two different positions, depending on your needs. The extension position: makes it a useful tool for individuals working towards knee extension range of motion goals as recommended by their healthcare provider.

Can I use Angglz on both knees?

Angglz is designed for single-knee support. However, if you experience discomfort in both knees, you can switch between legs or purchase a second unit for dual support.

Can I use Angglz on my driving leg?

Yes. Many people use the first (lower) position while driving to provide gentle knee support and improve comfort on longer trips. As with any driving accessory, use Angglz at your own discretion and only if you feel you can safely and comfortably operate your vehicle.

Is Angglz adjustable?

Yes! Angglz adjusts to two different positions: the "recovery angle" and the second is full extension. Angglz will "click" when placed in either position.

What are the dimensions of each knee rest?

Original (Narrow): 9.5 inches long x 3.5 inches wide per side

Tall (Wide): 10.5 inches long x 5.5 inches wide per side

Can Angglz be used as a "knee positioner?"

Yes. Angglz can be used to help place and stabilize the leg during certain situations, including imaging or other procedures where consistent knee positioning is helpful. Always follow the guidance of your healthcare provider or medical team when using Angglz in a clinical setting.

What does each knee rest weigh?

Original (Narrow) weighs under 1 pound

Tall (Wide) weighs a little over a pound (heavier with more material for extra support)

What is the best way to use Angglz?

Place Angglz under your knee while seated on a firm surface to help support a more comfortable resting position. For best results, avoid very soft couches or cushions, which can reduce support and effectiveness.

 Is Angglz travel-friendly?

Absolutely! Angglz is lightweight, compact, and foldable, making it easy to carry in your bag, suitcase, or car. It’s perfect for airplane seats, office chairs, and long drives.

How do I clean Angglz?

Angglz is made with high quality, durable materials designed to provide long-lasting support.

Frequently Asked Knee Pain Questions

Why do my knees hurt when I sit for a long time?

Knee pain while sitting usually comes down to one thing: your knee is locked at a fixed 90 degrees for too long. Whether you're at a desk, driving, or flying, most seats hold your knee at roughly 90 degrees with no way to shift the angle - and that static position is what leaves your knees feeling stiff, achy, or swollen, especially if you're managing an old injury or recovery from surgery.

The fix isn't a softer cushion - it's changing the angle. That's exactly what Angglz was built to do.

What is the best knee angle for sitting?

There isn’t one perfect knee angle for every person. Your height, age, chair, injury history, and individual comfort can all affect which position feels best.

Rather than focusing on maintaining one exact angle, consider whether your knee feels relaxed and supported. Sitting for hours with your knee fixed in the same position can contribute to swelling, stiffness and pain, so having the ability to place your knee in its best resting state can be helpful to manage all of these symptoms!

Angglz features two adjustable positions (the natural resting position and full extension). You can change the position of your knee depending on your body, environment and needs.

Why do my knees get stiff after sitting?

Knee pain and stiffness during and after sitting is a common complaint, especially after long periods at a desk, in the car or on a plane while managing a knee injury or symptoms.

Remaining in one position for an extended period can make the knee and surrounding muscles feel tight when you begin moving again. Existing knee conditions, previous injuries, surgery and activity levels can also contribute to stiffness.

If you regularly experience stiffness after sitting, try changing positions throughout the day, standing and walking periodically when possible, and finding a supported resting position for your knee that allows movement (insert Angglz).

Angglz was created to provide that support during the hours when you’re not moving - whether you’re working, traveling, or driving.

Is it bad to sit with your knees bent all day?

The issue isn’t simply that your knees are bent. Staying in any one position for a long period of time can become uncomfortable.

Our bodies are designed to move, but modern life involves a lot of sitting. Workdays, commutes, flights and road trips can all keep your knees in relatively static positions for hours at a time.

When possible, change positions periodically and take short movement breaks. When getting up isn’t practical, repositioning and supporting your knee can give you another way to find comfort while seated.

How often should I change position while sitting?

There isn’t a universal schedule that works for everyone, but changing positions, usually every 30 minutes, is preferable to remaining completely static for hours.

Listen to your body. If your knee begins feeling stiff, tight or uncomfortable, that can be a cue to stand, walk briefly or adjust your seated position.

Of course, movement isn’t always convenient. You can’t necessarily get up during a long drive, flight or meeting. A portable knee rest like Angglz gives you another option by allowing you to change and support your knee position while remaining seated and allowing your foot to move freely.

What is a knee rest?

A knee rest is a portable ergonomic tool designed specifically to support the knee while you’re sitting.

Unlike a pillow or rolled-up towel, Angglz is purpose-built for the knee joint. Its patented, portable design provides a stable surface beneath the knee.

Angglz was invented by a Physical Therapist after recognizing an overlooked problem: we have ergonomic products for our backs, feet, wrists and necks, but traditional seating often provides very little dedicated support for the knees.

Angglz weighs approximately one pound or less depending on size, making it easy to use at your desk, in the car, and while traveling when recovering from a knee injury.

Is a knee rest the same as a footrest?

No. A footrest supports your feet, while a knee rest is designed to support your knee joint.

Angglz is like a a lumbar roll for your knee: just as a lumbar roll provides support behind your lower back while sitting, Angglz provides a supportive resting surface for your knee.

This makes a knee rest particularly useful for people whose primary concern is knee pain, swelling and stiffness while seated.

Can a knee rest help with knee pain while driving?

Long car rides can be particularly uncomfortable for people who experience knee pain or stiffness while sitting. Your legs stay in a relatively fixed 90 degree position, muscles remain engaged or tight and space can be limited.

Angglz is portable enough to take in the car and was specifically designed for everyday situations like commuting and road trips.

Many Angglz customers use the first, lower position while driving to gently unload the knee and allow muscles to relax and unload the joint. As with any driving accessory, only use Angglz if you can safely and comfortably operate your vehicle.

Can a knee rest help with knee pain on airplanes?

Air travel often combines several things that can make knee discomfort challenging: very limited legroom, prolonged sitting and fewer opportunities to move around.

Because Angglz is compact and portable, it can travel with you and provide a supportive resting surface for your knee during flights and allow your foot to move freely. Instead of trying to improvise with a cushion or travel pillow, you have a tool specifically designed for the knee.

Angglz can also be used during road trips and other forms of travel, making it an easy addition to a travel routine.

Do I need a knee rest if I already have an ergonomic office chair?

Yes. Most ergonomic office setups focus heavily on the back, hips, neck and feet. The knee position is often overlooked.

Even an expensive ergonomic chair may leave your knees in essentially the same 90 degree position for hours at a time.

Angglz complements an ergonomic workspace by providing dedicated knee support that can be adjusted throughout your workday. It’s portable, so the same support you use at your desk can go with you into the car, on a flight or anywhere else you expect to spend significant time sitting.

Can Angglz help after exercise or sports?

Of course! Athletes and weekend warriors spend time sitting after activity - driving home from a match, working the next day or traveling to and from events.

Angglz was designed to provide knee support during those often-overlooked periods of rest to quickly reset the knee and manage ongoing symptoms. Its portable design makes it easy to incorporate into post-workout routines, travel and everyday sitting so your knee is always feeling good.

Can I use Angglz after knee surgery or knee replacement?

Every recovery is different, so you should follow the positioning and rehabilitation guidance provided by your surgeon.

Angglz is used by people during knee recovery because it provides a portable way to support the knee and manage symptoms while sitting. For people recovering from a total knee replacement, Angglz recommends the Tall (Wide) size or the bundle package “Recovery & Travel Kit."

Always check with your healthcare provider before changing how you position or support a recently operated joint.

Can I use Angglz if I have arthritis?

Yes, Angglz helps manage pain and swelling often associated with arthritis while sitting. People with arthritis can have very different symptoms, mobility needs and medical histories. If you’ve been diagnosed with arthritis or another joint condition, talk with your physician or physical therapist about whether a knee rest is appropriate for you.
