Discover Our Commitment to Knee Care

Knee pain affects 1 in 4 adults. One of the leading causes is sitting for prolonged periods and the angle at which the knee is placed when sitting is detrimental to knee joint health. Sitting after activity or for long times while the knee is at 90 degrees results in more pain, risk for osteoarthritis, and is extremely difficult with an existing injury.

Runners often encounter knee injury as well as high impact sport enthusiasts. While there are many knee supports, braces, sleeves and straps – not one is specifically developed by a Physical Therapist and designed to optimize recovery and improve comfort with sitting. Sitting is an opportunity to treat and care for our knees and especially crucial when coming off the field to home or school with a knee injury.

Designed & Created by a Physical Therapist

Lana’s journey began with a commitment to recovery and the need for ergonomic solutions. Lana reviewed articles and literature covering knee pain causes, prevalence, and of course used her 10 years of hands-on experience to create ANGGLZ. Lana is inspired to make ANGGLZ knee rests an extraordinary tool to make a difference and help those individuals with knee pain and other leg, foot or hip injury.

Our Mission

Provide effective and discreet knee supports for sitting to protect, preserve and recover from injury.

Our Vision

Develop and design patented, portable and versatile leg supports for sitting that look and feel great.

Founder’s Inspiration

ANGGLZ emerged from a simple idea – to provide not just knee support but an accessible and portable tool for those moments when your knees deserve a little extra love! Lana recognized a gap in the recovery process from onset of injury to the return of sport. Lana understood the need to find relief from pain and her approach to this non-traditional knee rest is different from anything else!

About the Founder

Lana Tobin grew up playing all kinds of sports. In gymnastics, track and field, and field hockey Lana experienced her own injuries. Bracing and supports were a part of her life, learning from a young age that there should be better offerings and solutions for post injury care on and off the field.

Lana went on to pursue her doctorate in Physical Therapy. She had an early passion for sports medicine and orthopedics and eventually found the best fit using all of her skills in pediatrics. Lana has always been curious about innovation and using creative ways to treat her patients. When Lana had this idea, in February 2023, it sparked joy and purpose in its creation and she couldn’t stop until ANGGLZ was born.
